If you are planning on adding one or two more healthy meals to your week in 2020, and need some inspiration, then these healthy eating cookbooks are for you. These are my favorite books from this year. Each one has a special spot on my bookshelf and is filled with bookmarks of the recipes I have tried and loved, and recipes that I intend to try in the future. Lots of vegan options and zero waste tips as well which is what we all need coming into the new year.

Healthy Eating Cookbooks
I am a bit obsessed with cookbooks and can spend hours poring over the cookbook section in the bookstore and in the library.
Every year when it comes to Christmas and mum asks what I would like I always have a list of cookbooks as long as my arm for her to choose from.
It really is the way to my heart.
Vegan, Zero Waste and Healthier
These seem to be the buzzwords from 2019 and the way everyone is trending towards for 2020, myself included.
And what can be wrong with adding more meat-free meals to your meal plan or reducing the amount of food you are throwing away at the end of each week.
We can all be a little bit better in those regards, right!
This is a super short list.
Only 5 healthy eating cookbooks in total.
Believe me, I have bought, borrowed and reviewed WAY more than that over the course of the year but these are the books that have stood the test of time, and that I find myself pulling out time and time again, and bookmarking more and more recipes in.
If you have any healthy eating cookbooks you find yourself turning to time and time again leave a comment so I can check them out.

5 Ingredients: Quick & Easy Food
Who doesn't love Jamie Oliver? Well, lots of people I am guessing, but I have always been a bit of fan, especially since he started overhauling school cafeterias. This cookbook is fantastic for beginners, for time-poor people or for parents wanting to get their kids more involved in cooking at home. Each recipe is simple and uses ingredients you are more than likely going to have at home or can find easily in the store. I find it great on those nights when I am feeling uninspired when it comes to making dinners, and my 7 year old loves picking meals from here to help me with.
