Ingredients

  • 5 oz (140g) crumbled feta
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • paprika and fresh parsley to serve
  • vegetables and pita chips to serve

Instructions

  • Place feta, cream cheese, olive oil and garlic into the bowl of a food processor
  • Pulse until you have a creamy, smooth texture.
  • Spoon dip into a bowl, top with paprika and fresh parsley.
  • Serve with your preferred type of dipper - vegetables, pita chips, etc.

Notes

Dip is too thick?
If your feta dip is too thick you can thin it out with some of the feta brine, or if you don't have any, a little bit more olive oil.
Food processor/blender
If you don't have a food processor then you can go ahead and use a blender, you might just need a little bit more liquid.
Substitutions
I prefer it with cream cheese, but you can easily sub in some Greek yogurt if you want to lighten things up a bit.
If you want to use some fresh herbs instead of garlic powder, these work well. Just be mindful it will change the flavor:
  • Chopped dill
  • Chopped parsley
  • Chopped cilantro/coriander
  • Fresh thyme
  • Fresh oregano
