Moist and delicious parcels of chicken, honey and turmeric wrapped in parchment and baked to perfection. Serve with some brown rice and steamed veg for the perfect weeknight dish

Ingredients
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 3 tbsp chopped cilantro stems
  • 1 tbsp ground turmeric
  • 3 tbsp raw honey
Instructions
  1. Combine garlic, oyster sauce, fish sauce, white pepper, cilantro turmeric and honey in a bowl, and whisk to combine
  2. Add chicken to the mixture, and coat thoroughly in the marinade. Pop into the fridge and allow to sit for at least an hour, preferably overnight
  3. Preheat oven to 180C/350F

  4. Line a tray with baking paper/parchment paper, place the chicken on the parchment paper, scrape all the marinade on top of the chicken and fold the parchment into a tight little package around the chicken
  5. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the chicken is cooked through, and a deep golden brown
  6. Remove from the oven, and allow to rest for 3 minutes. Once rested, cut each breast into slices (it should look like a hassle back potato), pour the rest of the sauce on top of the chicken, and serve with brown rice and steamed veg
