Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold water
  • 4 bags organic green tea (or 4 teaspoon loose leaf tea - see notes)
  • 2 ripe nectarines chopped into chunks
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 10 leaves mint plus extra for serving
  • 2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Ice for serving

Instructions

  • Pop the teabags and the water into a large container with a lid and pop in the fridge (or leave on the counter) for at least 3 hours (see notes if using loose leaf tea). I usually just pop it in the fridge overnight
4 cups cold water, 4 bags organic green tea
  • Once steeped, remove the teabags and pop the green tea, nectarines, lemon juice, mint leaves and maple syrup into a blender. Blend until the drink is smooth, and there are no chunks of nectarine floating around
2 ripe nectarines, 2 tablespoon lemon juice, 10 leaves mint, 2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Fill a glass with ice and pour in the iced tea.
    Ice
  • Top with some mint and enjoy

Notes

Look for loose lead tea to avoid potential plastics which can be found in teabags.
You can steep the loose leaf tea in the pitcher overnight as is, simply strain before combining with the other ingredients and blending.
Alternatively, use a tea straining ball or some cheesecloth to keep the tea leaves contained while soaking.
