- 3 tbsp rolled oats
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 pitted dates (optional for extra sweetness)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Add all of the ingredients, except for the granola, to a high speed blender, and blend until combined and creamy.
Pour into a cup to serve, add some granola or cruched graham crackers on top. Enjoy
This recipe makes 4 small serves or 2 large serves.
Peel and chop your apples the night before and freeze them. If you do not have frozen apples, you can use fresh but you will have to add some ice, otherwise, the smoothie will not be cold enough.
If you want to add the peel of the apple you can, however, there will be an element of graininess to the smoothie that would not be there if the apples were peeled.
I topped this smoothie with some homemade vegan graham crackers.
