Creamy Whipped Feta Dip
Serve with veggies, bread, or use as a spread in your next epic sandwich, this whipped feta dip is a handy little recipe to have in your arson. So easy to pull together, and really packing a flavor punch, this is one cheese dip you absolutely must try! Super easy to make, simply requiring everything to be loaded into a food processor and blitzed until deliciously creamy. What's stopping you?
Servings: 8 serves
- 5 oz crumbled feta
- 2 tablespoon cream cheese
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- paprika and fresh parsley to serve
- vegetables and pita chips to serve
Place feta, cream cheese, olive oil and garlic into the bowl of a food processor
Pulse until you have a creamy, smooth texture.
Spoon dip into a bowl, top with paprika and fresh parsley.
Serve with your preferred type of dipper - vegetables, pita chips, etc.
If your feta dip is too thick you can thin it out with some of the feta brine, or if you don't have any, a little bit more olive oil.
If you don't have a food processor then you can go ahead and use a blender, you might just need a little bit more liquid.
I prefer it with cream cheese, but you can easily sub in some Greek yogurt if you want to lighten things up a bit.
If you want to use some fresh herbs instead of garlic powder, these work well. Just be mindful it will change the flavor:
- Chopped dill
- Chopped parsley
- Chopped cilantro/coriander
- Fresh thyme
- Fresh oregano
