Blueberry Almond Milk Smoothie

There's simply nothing better than starting the day with a good smoothie, and this Blueberry Almond Milk Smoothie is a great smoothie! Loaded with antioxidants, a nice hit of natural sugars to get you powered up with some energy first thing and filling enough to keep you going until lunch. This always goes down a treat in our house, especially with the kids because of that bright, beautiful color!

Equipment

  • High powered blender

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon protein powder (optional)
  • extra blueberries and some granola to serve

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Top with some more blueberries and sprinkle of granola. Enjoy.

Notes

If you like a less thick and creamy smoothie then add up to one more cup of almond milk.
