They are also quite delicious!
How To Make Frozen Yogurt Bites
Scroll down to the recipe card for a full list of ingredients and instructions.
The best thing about this recipe is just how easy it is to put together!
Simply whisk together the yogurt, mascarpone, and your liquid sweetener of choice in a mixing bowl until everything is smooth and well combined.
Pop your molds onto some parchment paper on a baking sheet and pour the Greek yogurt mixture into the molds, top with some fresh juicy blueberries and sliced strawberries, and pop into the freezer.
I use a standard cookie scoop to scoop the mixture, but you can pour it or use a large spoon.
Whatever works.
After about 3-4 hours you will have yourself the perfect little healthy frozen snack.
Want to up the protein? Try adding in a tablespoon of protein powder when you are whisking the mixture together and you will end up with some protein loaded froyo bites.

Storing and Freezing
These little bites should be stored in an airtight container in the freezer until you are ready to eat them.
Like ice cream, they will start to melt once they are out of the freezer, so they are not suitable for transporting for lunches, etc.
If they seem to be a little bit stuck in the molds, and are hard to remove, simply let them sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes, and once they start to soften up they will be easier to remove.
TIP: To save space, once the yogurt bites are frozen solid, remove them from the molds and store them in an airtight freezer-friendly container, or a Ziploc bag.
Tips, Tricks and Substitutions
Another great thing about these little Greek yogurt bites is that they are super versatile, so feel free to change around the ingredients to suit what you have on hand.
Why not try changing it up by adding:
- a layer of crunchy granola like this granola with macadamia and coconut oil
- a swirl of peanut butter, or other nut butter of choice, or even cookie butter
- a drizzle of melted chocolate on top of the berries
- a tablespoon of protein powder mixed in with the yogurt mixture
- chopped peaches, nectarines, kiwi or pomegranate arils or any different fruits you have on hand that you think would work
- a sprinkle of shredded coconut
- a sprinkle of chocolate chips or cacao with the fruit
- a pinch of flaky sea salt
If you don't have a heart-shaped mold, use any mold you have on hand that would work, or just use a muffin tin or a mini muffin tin for little bites.
I would suggest a silicone muffin pan so it is easier to pop the yogurt bites out.
Mascarpone
If you do not have mascarpone, you can use cream cheese instead.
Dairy-Free?
This recipe works well with dairy-free yogurt and dairy-free mascarpone.
The options are endless, so go ahead and make a delicious treat to suit your preferences.
